This unit is fun, fun, fun.  Read a few pages about the animal then do activities such as color, copy, fill in vowels, match picture to word, word search, decode, poetry writing, label, maze, paint, draw, put together a puzzle, create a menu, create a postal stamp, find the continent, make a habitat shadow box, make a mosaic, make a mask, fill in an animal chart, make a mini book, write a story, play concentration and make a game board.  All activities are based on info from first 5-7 pages of easy information about the animal such as names, where they live, what they eat, what unique things about them, body parts etc.
